The Chalet, is an 1,860 square foot timber frame barn that was originally built in 2005 to be used by owner Jake Thompson as his wood shop, stalls for the two Percheron draft horses ~ Kobuk & Tecumseh ~ “the boys” used in the Carriage business, and a hayloft above.  In 2010, the boys were retired and in the years following, renovations began on the barn... sanding all the beautiful Douglas Fir timbers and enclosing the stall areas. The transformation was amazing and the Chalet now offers 3 individual, nicely appointed craftsman style cottages designed for the discerning traveler with all the comforts of home.

RATES:

Off season: $125/night - weekday      $150/night - weekend

Mid Season: $150/night - weekday    $175/night - weekend

Peak Season: $185/night + $25/single night*

Rates based on double occupancy, + $25 additional  person, Max: 3 A or 2A & 2C

 *A multiple night stay is generally required in Peak Season, however a single night stay may be requested by calling or emailing.

"KOBUK'S STALL"

  • Gorgeous, large, full kitchen with all the amenities

  • Great views of Max’s and Alyeska mountains.
